Role overview
Objectives
Gain an intermediate understanding of SICK sensors across all divisions in order to provide simple sensor solutions
Develop an appreciation of different manufacturing and logistics industries and their applications
Learn how to coordinate with customers
Conduct product presentations and trainings with confidence and technical expertise
Adapt to changing situations
Be comfortable with frequent trips to customers in various regions
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and calibrate simple sensors
Design the electrical and mechanical layout for projects
Execute mechanical and electrical installation
Collaborate in providing process solutions
Prepare simulations from customers
Note-taking and filling up Field Reports
Requirements
Undergraduate of an engineering degree related to Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, and any similar courses
Keen interest in industrial automation and basic familiarity with sensors and/or safety devices
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks is an advantage
Attention-to-detail and note-taking skills
Pleasing personality and ability to work with different people in a team
Experience working in various teams or projects
Googling skills
Must be able to work on-site in Ortigas and be willing to travel
