Main Focus: Research, Admin Operations, and Industry Development Initiatives Support
Cross-Unit Role: Supports GameOps, MEE Games, GDS, and GDAP initiatives

Role Overview
The Research & Industry Development Intern will support strategic initiatives across GameOps, GameDev Summit (GDS), MEE Games, and broader industry development efforts. This role is ideal for individuals interested in strategy, research, ecosystem building, and operational systems design.
Scope of Work
1. Research & Market Intelligence
- Conduct research on:
- Global and regional game industry trends
- External development (XDEV), co-development, and outsourcing models
- Potential partners, studios, publishers, and investors
- Compile structured research reports and summaries
2. Process Documentation
- Assist in documenting internal workflows and systems across:
- Business Development processes
- Event production workflows (GDS)
- Incubation and mentorship processes (MEE Games)
- Industry Development workflows and processes (GDAP)
- Create:
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Process maps and workflow diagrams
- Internal knowledge base materials
3. Industry Development Support
- Provide support in initiatives such as:
- Delegations (e.g., Tokyo Game Show, Gamescom, etc.)
- Government and institutional collaborations
- Ecosystem-building programs and partnerships
- Assist in:
- Data gathering
- Stakeholder tracking
- Coordination logistics
4. Administrative & Strategic Support
- Assist in preparing:
- Briefing documents
- Reports and presentations
- Meeting notes and summaries
- Support internal planning sessions and tracking of action items
Expected Outputs
- Research reports and industry scans
- Documented SOPs and workflow guides
- Structured trackers (partners, initiatives, opportunities)
- Internal knowledge base contributions
INTERNSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
Duration
- Minimum: 3 months
- Maximum: 6 months
Work Schedule
For Full-time internship
- 9 hours per day (inclusive of 1-hour break)
- 5 days per week
For Part-time internship
- 5 hours per day (inclusive of 1-hour break)
- 5 days per week
Work Arrangement
- On-site at Ortigas Office
Allowance Structure
- Allowance-based internship:
- 50% released upon start
- 50% released prior to completion of contract
Overtime & Offsetting
- Overtime may be required depending on project needs (e.g., events, deadlines)
- Any excess hours rendered may be:
- Offset against workdays within the same week, subject to approval
