We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Software Development Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in software development. The intern will work closely with the development team to support software projects, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
- Support developers in troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
- Assist in writing, reviewing, and debugging code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in software development projects and process improvements.
- Assist in database management and integration tasks when needed.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist in documenting software processes, technical requirements, and development activities.
- Perform other IT software development-related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BS Information Technology , BS Computer Science , BS Computer Engineering , BS Electronics Engineering , or related degree program
- Experience with Laravel/PHP is required
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, with familiarity in Vue.js, TypeScript, React, CI/CD pipelines, software development workflows, and Git/GitHub or similar version control tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of software development principles, debugging, and version control
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and development tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Has a school-issued Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) available
