THE INTERNSHIP ROLE
As a Chemical Technician Intern, you'll gain practical exposure to actual water and wastewater treatment processes while working alongside experienced technical personnel. This is an opportunity to see how chemical principles are applied to real-world environmental and industrial challenges.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Assisting in monitoring water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Assisting with chemical preparation, dosing, and handling activities under proper supervision.
- Supporting the collection and preparation of water samples.
- Monitoring and recording relevant process and operational data.
- Assisting technical personnel in conducting routine inspections and process checks.
- Supporting technical documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Assisting in identifying and reporting operational abnormalities.
- Learning and observing the operation of water treatment systems and equipment.
- Following established operational, environmental, and safety procedures.
- Properly using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper housekeeping in assigned work areas.
- Performing other technical tasks related to the internship as assigned by the supervisor.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in or taking a program related to:
- Chemical Technology
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemistry
- Environmental Science
- Industrial Technology
- Or other related science and technical programs
- Must be required by their school to complete an internship or OJT program.
- Willing to complete a 2–3-month internship program.
- Interested in water and wastewater treatment and industrial operations.
- Willing to be assigned on-site in Molino City, Cavite.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Willing to learn and follow technical procedures.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
