Prior Matter is seeking a Photography Intern to support our photography and creative production work across editorial, product, and brand imagery.

Prior Matter is a space for past garments and objects. Our independently sourced selection of contemporary-vintage womenswear focuses on pieces distinguished by their design, provenance, and lasting significance.
Program Details
- Location: San Juan City
- Modality: On-site
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Required hours: 150 hours
- Compensation: Php 800.00/day only
Voluntary internships only.
Key responsibilities
The Intern may be assigned learning and support tasks connected with the Company's creative production, marketing, and operations work, including but not limited to:
- Assist with and produce editorial and product photography
- Develop visual references, shot lists, and shooting approaches with the team
- Assist with lighting, composition, styling, and shoot preparation
- Select, retouch, color-correct, and prepare final images
- Maintain consistency with Prior Matter's visual direction across imagery
- Organize, name, archive, and manage photography files and assets
- Support shoots, fittings, campaigns, events, and other creative productions as needed
Profile
- Portfolio demonstrating fashion editorial photography is required
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, required to have own application installed.
- Strong retouching and color-correction skills
- Good understanding of lighting, composition, and image-making
- Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
- Comfortable receiving creative direction and translating it into finished imagery
- Organized, proactive, and reliable, with good file-management practices
