The Software Engineering Intern will support Springboard Philippines’ technology team in designing, developing, testing, and improving software applications for internal initiatives and client projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing web applications, internal tools, APIs, and software features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers
- Support both frontend and backend development depending on project requirements
- Assist in integrating APIs, databases, third-party services, and external platforms
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving software issues
- Translate functional requirements and designs into working software features
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and project meetings
- Use Git and standard version-control workflows for development
- Assist in documenting technical specifications, APIs, configurations, and development processes
- Research technologies, libraries, frameworks, and potential technical solutions
- Support deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing applications
- Experiment with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies where appropriate
- Work with developers, project managers, designers, and business teams on actual software projects
Interns may gain exposure to projects involving web development, enterprise applications, ERP systems, APIs and integrations, cloud applications, AI and automation, internal productivity tools, and custom software development.
